REGISTRATION FOR 2014

Mariah Child Development Center welcomes parents, neighbours, friends and family members to our registration day for January 2014 session as follows:

5)   Tahfiz Primary Home School

6)   Pre Tahfiz Islamic Studies

School Excursion Sept 2013

Assalamu'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

This year excursion, MCDC brought all of its teachers and students to:

1. Masjid An Nur, Kampung Baru Subang
2. Subang Airport
3. Malaysia Agriculture Park, Shah Alam
4. Masjid Negeri Shah Alam

We left the school early, after all the participants performed their istikharah prayer before embarking on the journey asking Allah's guidance throughout the journey.

Our first destination was Masjid An Nur, Kampung Baru Subang. We stopped there to pray Dhuha prayer after having their breakfast along the journey in the bus and then we encouraged all of our participants to pray Tahiyyatul Masjid once reached the masjid, practising the sunnah that they learned in the school wherever and whenever they would be, bi ithnillah (As Allah wills).

We left the masjid and headed to Subang Airport. Here, we went to 2 interesting places; Aeronautical Center and Control Tower. All teachers and students learned on how the center communicated with all the pilots and the way they ensured clear and smooth traffic of all the airplanes all over Malaysia. It was interesting and amazing, Allahu Akbar.

All of the students were later on brought to the control tower to see the airplanes.

We left the airport around noon time and headed to Malaysia Agriculture Park. We enjoyed few activities there:

• Had lunch (picnic)
• Rode a train, sight-seeing
• Visited 4-Seasons Temperate House
• Playground
• Enjoyed Ice-Cream Treat

We headed to our final destination- Masjid Negeri Shah Alam. Here, all the participants performed their Jama'-Takhir and Qasar prayer; combining Zuhr to Asr prayer and shorten each to 2 rakaahs.

We distribute few packets of bread to each participants on our way back to school. Alhamdulillah we all reached the school safe.

Anak Soleh - Baniin Weekend Programme

On the 29^th to 31^st July 2011, a weekend programme entitled “Anak Soleh” was organized.
Alhamdulillah the school received an encouraging participation from our own students and the students outside. 49 studentswere participated in the programme. 


The objectives of the programme :-

• Checking intention for the sake of Allaah.
• Following teachers' and leaders' instructions for Allaah's sake.
• Practising to be anak soleh. InsyaAllaah.

Among the activities held were :-

• Camping at the MCDC playground
• Tazkirah on Anak Soleh, Arkanul Islam, Arkanul Iman, Mahmudah and Mazmumah
• Solaah Jamaah and Qiamullail.
• Recitation Al-Quran.
• The way of Prophet Muhammad riadhah, swimming, gardening and cooking.
• Group presentation.
• Visual presentation.
• Quizzes.
• Medical Checkup.

This is the tazkirah titles which have been done during the weekend programme (baniin) :-

Year 2010 (Love Allah and Love Rasulullah s.a.w),

• Love Allaah.
• Love Rasulullah (s.a.w).
• Daily habit of Muslim.

Year 2009 (Welcome Ramadhan),

• Welcome Ramadhan.

Dental Check

A dental check was carried out for all student of preschool, primary and Islamic Studies students.
Students were taken by batches to Klinik Dr Zalinda for their dental check.
Alhamdulillaah, the dental check went well and it is hoped that all students will continue to take a good care of their teeth.

Teakwando

On the 23 Rejab 1432/25 June 2011, a taekwondo grading was organized by Pewaris Taekwondo Club at Oakleaf Club. Alhamdulillah all students were upgraded from white belt to yellow belt.

First Semester Activities

The first semester of Performance Review Day was held on 17 Jamadil Akhir 1432H/21st May 2011. Alhamdulillah, most parents turned up to have further discussion for the students' improvements on their performance. We highly hope that parents can work continuously with teachers in educating their children for their betterment.

On the last week, before the school holiday, MCDC held a certificate presentation. The event was meant to appreciate and celebrate those who have completed their Qur’an hifz (juz 29 and 30) for their effort. The recipients of the certificate were 13 students of the primary consisting of 7 boys and 6 girls.

School Excursion to Pusat Sains Negara

   Alhamdulillaah, all the teachers and students of Mariah Child Development Centre had the opportunity to go for an excursion at Pusat Sains Negara at Mont Kiara. 
   The purpose of the school excursion was to expose students to the wonders that Allaah has bestowed upon mankind in the creation and innovation through science and technology.
  The excursion includes our visit to the Masjid Wilayah where students had the opportunity to perform salah dhuha and tahyatul masjid. It is hoped that all students had a beneficial trip.
